On Monday, I was at Camp McDowell for the Province IV Daughters of the King (DOK) Fall Assembly. In a conversation with a fellow Daughter, we discussed the importance of “inner work”, the practice of prayer and the connection with God.

September begins the Season of Creation where Episcopalians join other Christians around the world as an intentional time of repairing and restoring our relationship with God, with each other, and with all of creation.

That’s it, folks. I’m afraid summer is coming to an end. The Labor Day weekend is upon us, and last weekend was our last lake service of the year. But, oh, what a lake service it was!
