Meet Canon Katie Pearson

As our search for the next Rector of Saint James moves forward, we are grateful to have the guidance of the Rev. Canon Katie Pearson, Canon to the Ordinary for the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama.

Canon Pearson works closely with parishes throughout our diocese during times of transition and will be an important resource to our Search Committee throughout this process. She recently spent a day with us—touring Saint James, learning more about our community, and sharing lunch and conversation with members of the Search Committee.

Canon Pearson will return to Saint James on November 1 to preach and share more with our parish about the search process. In the meantime, we invited her to introduce herself and say hello to our parish family.
